I travel the world a lot these past few years, and I got the chance to create my perfect kit for travel: Noise cancelling headphones, assorted cables and power adapters.

So I felt the need to write a little review on the best space saver I have in that kit - the BEZ Worldwide Travel Adapter.

Why? Well, the space I've saved using it is really significant - by taking a single rather small device I can leave at home - A universal power plug adapter and 2 USB chargers (which are usually not universal).

The BEZ Worldwide Travel Adapter has a power plug passthrough to be able to connect any power plug to any power plug.

A WORD OF CAUTION: The adapter doesn't convert from 110V to 220V or vice versa - this is only and adapter and not a converter!

The BEZ Worldwide Travel Adapter also have 2 USB-A output port capable of charging with up to 2.5A of current each.

Furthermore, it has a fuse built in to allow safe charging - if you'll experience electrical current spike - the fuse will take the load and your precious devices will stay safe! And in the off chance the fuse will be used, it has a replacement fuse built in!

Now I know it's not high tech, but it does what it should very well! The passthrough power adapter works well, and the USB goes up to 2.5A which is no slouch, and I did a couple of tests to see if it really delivers.

I've tried charging my Oneplus 5T smartphone using 3 different chargers and the same USB-C Anker made cable:

  • Avantree PowerHouse Plus - Able to charge with up to 40W/8A.

  • BEZ Worldwide Travel Adapter - Able to charge with up to 2.5A.

  • Oneplus Dash Charger - Able to charge with up to 4A (Oneplus brand of fast charging)

As you can see, the BEZ Worldwide Travel Adapter can charge as fast as the Avantree hub with 1.4A, which is nothing short of great. The odd one is the Oneplus dash charger which is built specifically to be able to charge the Oneplus super fast - One of the fastest in the world! At 3.4A it's awesome!

About the price - it's not the cheapest you can find, but it's reliable and does what it should very well while protecting you devices. I've paid 16 Pounds for it and I'm very pleased that I did.

This is really a no brainer - I would recommend it to anyone who travel, either little or a lot - this is your best travel buddy.
