All the time I have people asking me - When is the next big event? When will the new TVs come out? etc.
Well, I'm here to put everything in order. Following is a list of the main year-after-year events, in what months they tend to be, where, and what to expect.
Without further ado, here's the list:
January
CES - Consumer Electronic Show - Las Vegas, USA - The first week of January - What to expect? The current year's TV line, new laptops, new cameras, new home appliances, some prototypes that will never see the day light, new VR hardware and lately - high tech cars.
February
MWC - Mobile World Congress - Barcelona, Spain - End of February - What to expect? Everything mobile - new smartphones, portable speakers, new smartwatches, new laptops and tablets, some prototypes that will never see the day light.
April
Xbox Spring Sale - Internet - Mid April - What to expect? A lot of games with incredible discounts.
May
Google I/O - California, USA - Mid May - What to expect? New Android version announcement, new prototype hardware.
June
WWDC - Apple Worldwide Developers Conference - San Fransisco, USA - Beginning of June - What to expect? New Apple hardware - usually iPad or Mac, New versions of iOS, tvOS, watchOS and MacOS.
COMPUTEX - Taipei, Taiwan - Beginning of June - What to expect? Serious computer hardware announcements, a lot of prototypes and crazy computing machines.
E3 - Electronic Entertainment Expo - Los Angeles, USA - Mid June - What to expect? New games: PC, Xbox, PS, Nintendo etc. , New consoles (sometimes), New gaming accessories and hardware: Mice, Keyboards and more.
Steam Summer Sale - Internet - End of June - What to expect? A lot of games with incredible discounts, servers usually crash due to the high traffic.
July
Xbox Summer Sale - Internet - Beginning of July - What to expect? A lot of games with incredible discounts.
August
Back to School Sale - Internet - Beginning of August - What to expect? Various discounts for laptops and other study related products. Companies who usually take part of these sales: Microsoft, Apple, Google and other Electronic vendors.
September
IFA - Internationale Funkausstellung - Berlin, Germany - Beginning of September - What to expect? New TV line, new laptops, new cameras, smartphone announcements, smartwatches and smart things, new home appliances, some prototypes that will never see the day light, new VR hardware.
November
Black Friday - All Over - End of November - What to expect? So so many Tech and other thing on discount, Amazon shopping is the one to go.
