in-ear Headphones

If you own a smartphone or media player of some sort, chances are you also own a pair of in-ear headphones

(Also known as: earphones, earbuds etc.).

Why you’re likely to have them? Well, for a few reasons: most manufacturers add them to their product as a bundle, they are mostly cheap and great to take with you on the go.

Most in-ear headphones have some sort of silicone tip in order to allow a comfortable fit and seal inside your ear, but those silicone tips aren’t the most comfortable or isolating in most of the cases.

I found 2 companies that make different memory foam tips in different sizes to allow better comfort and seal for your in-ear headphones allowing more immersive listening experience over long periods of time:

Those 2 companies, which I personally tried both, make different foam ear tips. Prices may vary but both have great product – you can search on their web site which model of ear tips are compatible with your in-ear headphone model.

A WORD OF ADVICE: When you find the right ear tip model (according to your in-ear headphone model) the size you should choose is the corresponding silicone ear tips your headphones have – Small, Medium or Large.

ANOTHER WORD OF ADVICE: Those foam tips don’t last forever, be ready with replacements tips every 6 months or so.

A WORD OF CAUTION: Although they improve the listening experience – these aren’t magic ear tips, as for long listening sessions may result in ear fatigue.
