Xbox Spring Sale 2017 - Xbox One Recommendations

Well, Xbox Spring Sale is here until April 17th! and the full list of discount percent for both Xbox One & 360 can be found here.

Although the list is pretty long, my recommendation list is much shorter. This is by no means a full review of the games, but a quick look at the essentials.

Keep in mind, an Xbox Live Gold subscription will get you up to 10% additional discount.

And now for the main event:

Assassin’s Creed Triple Pack: Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate (60% off) - These 3 Assassin's Creed games are awesome, while "Black Flag" is my personal favorite of the entire franchise - the 60% percent off the 3 is a bargain.

The franchise is a third-person open world filled with historical missions (not always accurate, but fun none-the-less), combat and stealth.

Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition (50% off) - One of the

best Batman games ever come out. On PC it was filled with bugs, making it unplayable! But the console version works just fine.

A huge third-person open world, with villains and Batman tech to spare.

BioShock: The Collection (40% off) - The 3 first-person shooter

games of the BioShock universe are amazing, the story is captivating and the action is surprisingly fun. The games tend to be on the horror side of things, so be aware of it.

Using conventional weapons or different powers like throwing bolts or bees - this game is very diverse.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (60% off) - In this first -person futuristic and cyber enhanced world, the line between man and machine is dimming. You have a free approach to deal with your mission, and how you complete them affects the timeline of the game.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (60% off) - Diablo is an old franchise, one I remember from my childhood - so it holds a special place for me.

The one thing console games were missing, is a bit of Diablo in the mix. This is the latest installment to the franchise.

A hack and slash game with lots of missions and side missions you can choose from.

Grand Theft Auto V (40% off) - Hands down one of the best

games that ever come out - period! Although it was released at the end of 2013, it's still hold strong as one of the best selling games ever.

It has a great story, amazing graphics and a great open world. It is however - not child friendly so be ware. The game is mostly third person but later update made it first person view friendly.

Although it is a solid discount, try to look for a better price elsewhere.

Just Cause 3 / Just Cause 3 XL Edition (67% off) - Open world

third-person fun! blow-up, drive and fly.

Although this game has it's share of bugs... it is lots of fun to play with the world as you see fit.

Metro Redux Bundle (70% off) - These 2 games of a post

apocalyptic first-person shooter have it's tense moments. The atmosphere is captivating and you are drown to the dark world ahead.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – Game of the Year Edition (40% off) - Tolkien world done right. Although the connection to

the Lord of the Rings books and movies isn't straight forward, the action and monsters are all there. The combat system is a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it's very rewarding!

NBA 2K17 (40% off) - I'm not a sport game kinda guy, but this

game is for those night where friends come over and you light up the Xbox. The graphics are top notch, the game mechanics is still solid, and the price has come down.

Titanfall 2 (40% off) - This game represent - Multiplayer done

right! It's a great first person shooter, one which has a giant Mech you can call to the battlefield to wreak havoc with. This game is mainly a multiplayer (bare that in mind), although it has a short single player campaign.

Red Dead Redemption (40% off) (Xbox One Compatible) - An

honorable mention, one of the top games to come out to the Xbox 360. This third person western has a wide variety of mission and nice graphics (for the time of release). It's basically a western GTA.
